Breast Cancer research has brought us a long way over the years... 3 of my dear aunts have died of breast cancer...I have survived Stage 3 breast cancer that had spread to my lymph nodes for over 7 years. In the fall of 2003, I discovered that the chemotherapy that saved my life in 1998, has injured my bone marrow and caused a "pre leukemia" disease called Myelodysplastic Syndrome. Without a bone marrow transplant...and God's help...my doctor's offer little hope of long term survival. Much more research is needed before an "across the board" cure is found and women no longer fear the word "Cancer".... Let's all help find the cure!
